The Lewis County Planning Commission will take public comment on the county's comprehensive plan at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 10.
The hearing and commission meeting will be held at the Lewis County Courthouse, 110 Center Avenue in Weston. The public may attend and speak about the plan under consideration.
Residents who want to review the document beforehand have two options. A copy is available through the Lewis County government website at lewiscountywv.org, and a paper copy can be reviewed at the County Administrator's Office inside the courthouse. That office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Written comments may be submitted before the hearing to Tina Helmick, Lewis County Administrator, 110 Center Avenue, Weston, WV 26452. The legal notice does not list an email address for comments, so residents using a method other than mail or hand delivery should first confirm that the county will accept it.
The commission published its formal notice July 22. Because the hearing remains ahead, residents planning to attend should check the county website for any late schedule or access changes before traveling to the courthouse. Read the full public notice.
