The Weston Walmart remained closed August 20 as repairs continued from July's flood, and the company had not announced a reopening date.

Healthcare access continued in the parking lot through Walmart's only mobile pharmacy trailer in the country. Pharmacy clinical-services manager Travis Skinner said the unit had been operating for roughly three weeks with a typical crew of two pharmacists and six technicians. About 1,000 patients had used it and the staff had filled approximately 1,000 prescriptions.

The trailer also provided immunizations; glucose, blood-pressure, A1C and lipid screenings; and medication-management services. Curbside help and delivery were available for patients unable to climb the trailer steps or travel to the site. Walmart expected to keep the unit in place until the main store could reopen.
