The City of Weston has gathered flood recovery forms and donation information in one post. The city says the resources are for all Lewis County residents, including those outside Weston.
The city asks everyone who sustained damage, however small, to complete the damage survey at https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/de033ec0327f4a5db41884eb5fc0974b. It says the information could help the community eventually qualify for federal aid, though it does not say such aid is assured.
Residents who need help with flood recovery, including muck-out work, supply deliveries or food, can use the help form at tinyurl.com/LewisFloodHelp. People who can volunteer can use tinyurl.com/LewisVolunteerFloodRelief; the city says volunteers will be connected with a need.
A housing survey is available for people displaced by the flood, who may soon be displaced, or who are concerned their home may no longer be safe or practical to live in: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=zCufm51dx0STFbzvkzyDvAd3Psx6l4RNrVVWQyNxhNJURUVQSlFKN08xOU1CU1BWN1hQTDIyN1hGQi4u&route=shorturl.
For donations, the city directs checks to Lewis County FRN, PO Box 1168, Weston, WV. It also lists the Lewis County Family Resource Network’s PayPal donation page: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?cmd=_donations&business=donate%40lewiscountyfrn.org&item_name=Lewis+County+FRN¤cy_code=USD. The post gives no deadlines for the forms.
