Stonewall Jackson Lake shared free Halloween activities on October 6 that bring a water-safety theme to pumpkin decorating and paper crafts.
The Bobber Halloween Fun Pack includes pumpkin stencils and a Bobber mask. A separate Life Jacket-o’-lantern paper model activity is also available to download at www.Bobber.info. The accompanying graphics advertise both downloads as available for a limited time, but give no end date.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers also reminded adults to keep a close eye on children and make sure they wear a properly fitted life jacket whenever they are in, on or near open water, including lakes, rivers and ponds.
