Phase II Distribution Center: Operation Rebuilding Lives has announced a reduced October operating schedule for its Weston flood-relief distribution center, with afternoon hours early in the month and appointment-only service during the final two full weeks.

The center’s notice says donations are still being collected. An accompanying graphic identifies its location as 204 Main Ave., Weston.

October hours and appointments

For the week of Sept. 28–Oct. 3, the center lists Wednesday, Thursday and Friday hours of noon to 6 p.m., with Saturday explicitly closed. The remaining dates in that schedule at the time of review are Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2; the Saturday closure falls on Oct. 3.

For the weeks of Oct. 5–10 and Oct. 12–17, the center will open only on Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 6 p.m. Those dates are Oct. 7–8 and Oct. 14–15.

For the weeks of Oct. 19–24 and Oct. 26–31, Wednesday and Thursday service will be by appointment only: Oct. 21–22 and Oct. 28–29. The notice does not provide appointment hours or specify a booking procedure. It lists [email protected] and 304-314-2595 as contact information for the organization.

Household donations requested

The center lists small kitchen appliances, pots and pans, and dish towels and washcloths as high-need items, accepting those items in new or like-new condition. Pillows and bathroom towels and washcloths must be new.

The accompanying household-donation graphic labels these needs “as of 9/30.” The captured notice says the center is still collecting donations, but does not give separate donation drop-off hours.

Supplies for a planned community Christmas

Operation Rebuilding Lives says it is planning community events through February, including a community Christmas with a “Santa’s Workshop.” It is requesting wrapping paper, gift boxes, ribbons, bows, name tags and Scotch tape for that effort.

Dates, times and other event details have not been announced in the supplied notice. The organization says additional information will follow.

The post also directs people interested in monetary donations or learning about its mission to givebutter.com/WestonFloodRelief.
