Lewis County Family Resource Network is looking for 25 people, organizations or businesses to help local residents with holiday clothing, toys or meals.
In its Nov. 1 announcement, the FRN said the effort serves people facing extenuating circumstances, usually older teens and seniors. Participants can shop for someone or make a donation toward their needs. Most needs will cost $50 to $150.
The FRN will provide wish lists, sizes and allergy information. Volunteers can sign up through the holiday volunteer form, which the organization says takes about a minute to complete. Shopping assignments will be sent by Friday, Nov. 20.
Monetary donations can be mailed to Lewis County FRN, 240 Court Avenue, Weston, WV 26452. Donors should note “Holidays 2026” on payments. Purchased items are due Tuesday, Dec. 15; volunteers can call to arrange an appointment.
For questions or to arrange a drop-off, contact the FRN at 304-269-4000 or [email protected].
