Christ in Action teams have returned to Lewis County for whole-house demolition and other gutting work beginning Nov. 2, the Lewis County Family Resource Network announced.
In its Nov. 1 Facebook post, the network said residents may see volunteers wearing red shirts working in the community. Teams traveled to West Virginia after weeks of preparation, hundreds of case management calls, paperwork and planning meetings.
The network thanked Christ in Action for supporting Lewis County and asked residents to keep local families in their thoughts as they make difficult decisions about demolishing their family homes.
