The City of Weston has gathered flood recovery resources for Lewis County residents, including forms to report damage, request help, volunteer and share housing concerns. The city says the resources are for all county residents, not only people who live in Weston.
The damage survey is for anyone whose property sustained damage, large or small. The city says collecting the information could help the community qualify for federal aid, including FEMA assistance.
Residents who need recovery help—such as cleanup, delivered supplies or food—can use the help form. People who want to volunteer can submit their information to be connected with a need. A separate housing survey is for people displaced by the flood, at risk of displacement, or concerned their home may not be safe or practical to live in afterward.
The post also lists donations to the Lewis County Family Resource Network. Checks can be mailed to Lewis County FRN, PO Box 1168, Weston, WV, or donations can be made through the network’s PayPal account. See the City of Weston’s resource post.
