The Market Place Mall flood relief distribution center at 284 Market Place Mall in Weston will operate Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Oct. 2, according to updated information from the Lewis County Family Resource Network.

The center is in the old Kroger building, to the right of Dollar Tree. FEMA staff will be present each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help with intake registrations, check registration status and answer questions. The Family Resource Network says the FEMA pop-up is in addition to FEMA’s primary Disaster Recovery Center.

After Oct. 2, the distribution center will close to walk-ins and open by appointment for recovery groups and community members. The post says flood-impacted families who have applied to FEMA can access designated supplies by providing their FEMA application number; having an application number does not mean an application has been approved.

People seeking flood-related support can call 304-886-5782 or complete the “I Need Help” form at tinyurl.com/LewisFloodHelp. The number and form are not for crises or emergencies; call 911 for immediate help. The Family Resource Network also says long-term recovery case management will continue by phone, in homes, at the distribution center and at other locations convenient to families.
