New and gently used toys are being collected through Saturday, Nov. 28, to help local families this Christmas season, according to a toy-drive flyer Kathy Ellis shared in a Nov. 5 Facebook post.

Donations can be left on the church canopy porch at Mt Hebron UM Church, 3444 Sycamore Lick Road, Jane Lew, on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The flyer identifies the collecting organization as HMIA.

Ellis said donations were still being accepted. The flyer also announces a toy drive for Saturday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It identifies the church as the donation drop-off site but does not separately identify the location of the Dec. 5 activity or explain how families can receive toys.
