WV Rucking the Trails is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park in Clarksburg. The Lewis County Mile – Walk/Run/Bike Club shared a participation form for the event, which it says will support veterans and the community.
The event graphic calls it the inaugural “Ruck for Recovery” and lists a ruck or walk, fun runs, food, vendors, demonstrations and music. It says the gathering will honor the legacy of retired U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Melvin Gatewood.
