West Virginia Health Right is offering prescription assistance to residents in Lewis, Pleasants and Upshur counties who lost essential medications or diabetic supplies in the recent flooding.
The organization says eligible flood-affected residents may receive up to a one-month supply regardless of income or insurance status. Controlled medications are not available through this assistance.
Residents should call West Virginia Health Right’s Clinical Manager at 304-414-5922 with a current medication list. The organization says it will work with a patient’s doctor to authorize prescriptions or with the patient’s regular pharmacy to transfer existing orders.
This assistance was reported by WV News on July 22, 2026, and WV Health Right’s website continued to display a flood-assistance notice when checked September 16. Readers should confirm current availability and medication-specific details with the organization; this notice is not medical advice.
