The Wild Sunflower is welcoming families into its restored hoop house for a relaxed Earth Day planting celebration. Kids get to decorate their own herb-filled pots, mingle with greenhouse plants, and learn a few tips about caring for zinnias and sunflowers. The event is Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at 288 Lifes Run Road in Jane Lew, WV. Pre-register because the workshop caps at a small group. Tickets are 2 per child and include a craft, a plant to take home, and lemonade. Register on Square.
