The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston highlighted handwritten signatures on small patches of tile in the showers of its Criminally Insane building, known at the site as the CI building.

In a Facebook post with two photographs, the operator described the names on the walls as one of the historic site’s most affecting details.

The post did not identify who left the signatures or when. The individual names were too unclear to transcribe confidently.
