The Primitive Pumpkin will welcome visitors for a holiday kickoff Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2848 Sycamore Lick Road in Jane Lew, according to Carol Smith’s Nov. 5 announcement.
The weekend will include cookies from Loveberry Bakery and a winter décor giveaway. A home décor purchase is required to enter the drawing; honey and maple syrup purchases do not qualify. The winner will be announced at the close of business Sunday, Nov. 8.
What’s in the giveaway
The prize includes two Glistening Cypress Pine Trees, one 4 feet tall and one 2 feet tall, each in a matching wicker-look pot. It also includes a wool-and-felt-lined round table mat featuring a snowman with trees, a twisted-wire snowman figure and an Herbal Star battery-operated candle with a timer and moving flame, in a Balsam & Frasier Fir scent.
Apiary and maple syrup products Sunday
Donnie Smith Apiary & Maple Syrup will be set up Sunday. Smith said maple syrup products were running low and that the weekend would probably be the last opportunity to buy them before they sell out for the season. The announcement said more would not be available until next season once the remaining supply is gone.
