Lewis County High School's girls soccer team played Preston to a 3-3 draw on the road Tuesday, according to the final result recorded by MaxPreps.

The result was Lewis County's second draw in as many matches after Saturday's 1-1 finish against Hampshire. It moved the Minutemaids to 0-3-2 through five matches. Preston moved to 1-2-2.

The September 1 conference match was played at Preston High School in Kingwood. MaxPreps did not publish a player-by-player scoring summary, so individual goals and assists are not included here.

Lewis County is scheduled to return home Thursday, September 3, for a conference match against Robert C. Byrd. The varsity girls start is listed for 8 p.m. in Weston by both MaxPreps and the NFHS Network's WVSSAC schedule. The portal calendar now links that matchup to this report.

Schedules can change, particularly around weather and transportation. Families planning to attend should check Lewis County Schools or the current NFHS listing before traveling. The final score and updated record are available from MaxPreps, and the next home match is listed by NFHS Network.
