Lewis County football honored its six seniors with a steak dinner at the team’s final meal of the season, according to Annie Cunningham Brown’s Nov. 5 post in the Lewis County End Zone Club public group.
Brown thanked seniors Aiden, Blake, Caden, Ian, Kellan and Luke for their hard work, dedication and the heart they brought to the field on Friday nights.
The dinner drew contributions from several supporters. Stonewall Resort provided side dishes, Steven Maxwell supplied the grill, Lance Oldaker prepared the steaks, and team moms brought desserts, Brown wrote.
The Minutemen will face the Grafton Bearcats in their final game of the season Friday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. Brown encouraged supporters to come out and cheer for the players. Her post did not name the game’s venue.
