The Lewis County Annual Community Baby Shower brought families together with baby supplies and local resources at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Weston on September 12, according to a Weston News report.
The gathering ran from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families received bags with clothing and infant supplies, diapers and lunch, the report said. It also described service representatives who shared information about assistance available to families throughout the year.
About 50 door prizes were available, including car seats and strollers, according to Weston News. The report identified church members, Family Resource Network volunteer Dee Evans and community volunteers as part of the effort.
