Lewis County's boys soccer team overcame an early deficit and a red card to finish level with Hampshire, 1-1, on August 29 in Weston.

Hampshire took a 1-0 lead before Lewis County was reduced to 10 players. The Weston Democrat reported that Rowen McDougal received a straight red card, but the reason was not clear from the press box. This article does not speculate about the call.

The Minutemen found their equalizer just before halftime. With four seconds showing, Bubba Zavala headed the ball into the penalty area and Josiah Heiney finished the opportunity to make it 1-1.

Neither side scored after the break. The local report described a physical second half with frequent stoppages and several Hampshire chances, but Lewis County held the draw despite playing short-handed.

The NFHS Network's event record confirms that the varsity boys match began at noon Eastern at Lewis County High School and is available as a subscriber replay. The publicly visible listing does not display the score; the result and match details come from the Weston Democrat's on-site report.
