Lewis County High School’s Maids took Wheeling Park to five sets before losing the deciding set 16-14, according to LCHS Minutemen Athletics. The athletics page also reported a junior varsity win and recognized junior Lila Fealy for reaching 2,000 career sets.

A close match and a milestone

The school praised the Maids’ effort and teamwork. It did not give the other varsity set scores or the junior varsity opponent and score.

The same post congratulated Fealy on “2,000 career sets,” using that wording to describe her milestone.

The update referred to the matches as happening “today,” but its original date was unavailable. We could not confirm the match date or location. The team said it would play again “on Monday,” without giving a date, opponent, venue or start time.
