The Jane Lew Fire Department says it has changed its cash raffle to 500 chances at $20 each. The grand-prize winner will receive $5,000, and the department says additional drawings will offer $500 cash prizes.
The department says the drawing will be held after all 500 chances are sold and streamed live on its Facebook page. It says no paper tickets will be issued; a Square receipt will serve as proof of purchase. The department also says it may cancel the drawing and refund purchases if sales slow.
