Central West Virginia HeartHouse’s Phase 2 donation and distribution center in Weston is operating on a reduced schedule of noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, according to a September 16 report by WV News.

The center is in the former Camden Hotel on Main Street and provides toys, kitchen supplies and household items for residents recovering from the July 21 flood. The distribution manager said the center remains busy and is still accepting donations; bedding and plasticware were identified as continuing needs in the report.

HeartHouse expects the Phase 2 operation to wind down during the first week of October, but the report says the schedule could change as organizers assess community needs. Plans for possible later use of the space, including holiday assistance, were described as still under development.

The report does not publish a street address, phone number or complete donation list. Residents should review the complete WV News report for the latest details before visiting or donating.
