WVU Jackson’s Mill plans to hold its fourth annual Harvest Time at the Mill on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The event is free, though donations are welcome, the mill said in its official announcements.

The mill says historic buildings will be open, with blacksmithing and fiber arts demonstrations and hands-on activities including candle-dipping, paper marbling, rope-making and butter-making. Craft and food vendors are also planned.

The mill is still seeking craft vendors and heritage artisans. Interested vendors can call (304) 269-5100 or email [email protected]; the latest announcement says there is no setup cost or commission fee. Read the latest official announcement for the organizer’s details.
