Giovanni’s of Weston thanked supporters in an October 11 Facebook post, saying several people have donated to help with flood relief since the restaurant reopened.
The restaurant said support has come from Lewis County, neighboring counties and other states. It chose not to name individual donors because it did not want to leave anyone out.
“Thank you for showing up for us, for thinking of us, and for reminding us just how far a little love and a strong community can reach,” the restaurant wrote.
