Francie Skylar Floyd is asking for volunteers to take on physical chores at the rescue she described in a public post. She said multiple floods, repairs, kennel work and other demands have left more work than she can manage alone.

Floyd thanked people who have already donated supplies or helped at events and with cleanup. Her immediate need, she wrote, is for people willing to mow, clean kennels, haul or move supplies, wash equipment, tend the yard and help with flood cleanup. Volunteers do not need to train or handle dogs. Even two hours would help, she said.

Anyone able to help can message Floyd with the days and times they are available. She said she can match volunteers with jobs they are comfortable doing. The captured post did not give a work site or set volunteer schedule. It was captured at 11:10 p.m. EDT Sept. 27; the original posting time was unavailable.
