Four dogs returned to the Lewis-Upshur Animal Control Facility after an adoption event at Tractor Supply, and Mariah Goldsmith is seeking homes for them. Goldsmith said in her post that the shelter is overflowing. The post does not give the event’s calendar date, so readers should check whether the dogs are still available.
The facility is at 318 Mud Lick Road in Buckhannon. Its listed hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The listed phone number is 304-472-3865. Goldsmith said people may message her to request an after-hours adoption appointment. Other animals available for adoption are listed at Upshuranimalcontrol.org.
