Encore A Thrift Store is offering half-price comforters, throws, blankets, zip-up and button-up sweaters, blazers, jackets, quilts and sleeping bags in its Cozy Comfy fall sale, according to a post from the store.
The store says most clothing is priced from 50 cents to $1. It also lists two twin mattress sets at $25 per set, along with housewares, furniture, antiques, collectibles, photo frames, artwork and toys. Encore lists its hours as Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The post does not give an end date for the sale.
Encore welcomes donations. A graphic accompanying the post asks donors to bring clean, folded soft items without rips, stains or dry rot in tied white or black trash bags. It says not to put glass in bags, to pack breakable items in boxes whose flaps can close, and that bulky items may be brought loose. Another graphic describes Encore as staffed by volunteers and says proceeds from sales stay in the community to help people in need.
