The City of Weston has compiled flood-recovery links intended for residents throughout Lewis County.

The city’s latest update says it is continuing to add recovery information to its website. The city says Facebook posts and comments are not monitored for questions or requests for assistance; residents should call the Municipal Building at 304-269-6141 or contact the appropriate agency directly.

The city’s public recovery page directs residents to a damage-assessment survey, a form for requesting cleanup and other recovery help, a volunteer form and a housing survey. It also lists flood-relief donation information for the Lewis County Family Resource Network. Readers should use the city’s current page and the linked forms for the latest availability, hours and eligibility details.

For businesses affected by the flooding, the Lewis County Economic Development Authority says to complete the Lewis County Business Flood Impact Survey at tinyurl.com/LewisBusinessImpact. The EDA notice says businesses should report impacts even if they have insurance, have reopened, lease their location or do not yet know the dollar amount. Businesses that cannot complete the survey online may call 304-269-4993 for help collecting the information.

The EDA also asks businesses to photograph and record floodwater depth, damaged inventory, equipment serial numbers, cleanup expenses, insurance information, closure dates, lost sales and employee impacts before discarding damaged property. The notice describes the survey as a damage-assessment and recovery-coordination tool, not an application for financial assistance.

The city says these recovery resources are for Lewis County residents, not only Weston residents. The city and EDA notices do not determine eligibility for federal assistance or guarantee that a request can be fulfilled; those decisions belong to the responsible agencies and organizations.

The selected City update did not display its original posting time; LC Portal collected it on September 20, 2026. This is an official public-service notice based on current City of Weston recovery information and the captured Lewis County EDA business-survey notice. LC Portal did not independently verify individual damage reports, survey responses, assistance eligibility or the availability of specific recovery services.
