Christ in Action is seeking volunteers to help flood-impacted families in Lewis County with demolition and cleanup Nov. 9–21, according to an Oct. 31 announcement from the Lewis County Family Resource Network. Help is especially needed the week of Nov. 16.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, register in advance and commit to at least one full workday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They may choose one day or several days.
Schedule and meals
Breakfast and lunch are provided. The daily schedule includes optional breakfast at 7 a.m., optional chapel at 7:30 a.m., demolition and cleanup from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and optional dinner at 6 p.m.
