Help neighbors know what is happening
Share an occasional sourced update from your neighborhood, organization, school, church, club, or community. One useful update per week is an invitation, not a quota.
What helps the newsroom

- When it happened or will happen
- A public source or organizer link when available
- An optional email if the newsroom may follow up
What happens next
Submissions stay private until reviewed. The newsroom may verify, edit, request clarification, correct, publish, or decline an item. If something is published, credit can use the name or organization you provide.
Community contributors are not staff reporters. This invitation does not promise payment, an account, publication, exclusivity, or a ward assignment.

The existing newsroom form will label your submission as volunteer interest and ask for your community. You can also use it later for an ordinary local update.
